 What started with a suspicious picture at a wedding reception has grown into a paranormal phenomenon!! Dave and Tom Jones, real-life brothers, have embarked on a journey to explore the unknown, and what has grown from that passion has been exciting. Dave, a retired Civil Engineer, and Tom, a retired police officer, co-founded the Kentucky Area Paranormal Society. Starting out with two flashlights and a couple of audio recorders for their first investigation, KAPS has grown into an international society of investigators consisting of everyday folks who have joined Dave and Tom to investigate the not-so-everyday occurrences that shock our sensibilities and stimulate our wonder about what lies “out there."
Today, the Kentucky Area Paranormal Society has sophisticated, cutting edge equipment and technology to aid them in their search for paranormal activity, along with a host of like-minded investigators who follow Dave and Tom to some of the most provocative locations in America in search of the truth. Springing from these investigations was a desire to communicate their findings with others, which lead to the beginning of a series of podcasts. The popularity of these podcasts led to the formation of the KAPS Paranormal Radio show, hosted by Dave and Tom each week, featuring many paranormal personalities and subjects. As their popularity grew, notable names in the paranormal community agreed to be guests on their show, including the likes of Barry FitzGerald from Ghost Hunters International, Loyd Auerbach from Mindreaders.com, Amy Bruni from Beyond Reality Radio, Patrick Burns from Haunting Evidence, Jeff Meldrum from the Discovery Channel, Stanton Friedman, Bonnie Vent from Paranormal News, Marla Brooks, and many others. The desire to extend their reach to the paranormal world, and to produce a forum for new and exciting voices in paranormal broadcasting , has culminated in the formation of the Para X Radio Network, that today features 15 live shows that has a truly international audience.
Dave and Tom have made a splash in the paranormal field, and are now being sought as personalities to appear at various paranormal conferences and conventions across the United States and internationally. Dave and Tom have just successfully orchestrated a mass investigation of Waverly Hills Sanatorium where ten societies from the United States and Europe were hosted. What does the future hold? Dave and Tom are excited to find out!!
